Easy Ways To Download Games On Your PS4

Games for the PlayStation 4 are available on disc and as digital downloads. Digital PS4 games must be downloaded before they can be played, unlike game discs that can simply be inserted into the console. You can download games to your PS4 in a variety of methods, including directly on the console and remotely. Here are a few different ways to download PS4 games.

How to Download Ps4 Games

The PlayStation Store, the PS4 Games Library, a web browser, or the PlayStation app are all places where you can download PS4 games.

Downloading from the PlayStation Store

You can purchase and download the game from the PlayStation Store if you haven’t already.

1. Navigate to the PlayStation Store app on your PS4’s Home screen and hit the X button to access it.

2. Press X to select the game you wish to download. This will bring up a screen with details on the game, including its cost.

3. Select “Add to Cart” and press “X” if you haven’t yet purchased the game. If you’ve previously bought the game or it’s free, the option to download will show instead of add to cart; in this instance, choose Download and hit X.

4. After you’ve placed the game(s) you want in your cart, select “Proceed to Checkout” and press “X.” If your payment information hasn’t been saved yet, you may need to enter it.

5. Select “Confirm Purchase” and press “X” after you’ve entered your payment information.

6. Lastly, select Download and press X on the next screen.

Downloading From the Ps4 Games Library

The game will appear in your PS4 library if you’ve already purchased it but haven’t yet installed it. Before you can play the game, you must first download it from your library.

1. Navigate to the Library app on your PS4’s home screen and hit the X button to open it.

2. Scroll down to Purchased on the left sidebar and press X.

You must first enable automatic downloads on your PS4 in order to download games remotely.

2. To enable these features, select Stay Connected to the Internet and Enable Turning On PS4 from Network.
